Stretching of the radial wrist extensors

Selective stretchin gof the extensores carpi radialis can be used as a primary or secondary prophylactic measure (during” warming up” and “cooling down”).

Technique

The extensores carpi radiales are brought under passive tension during a combination of:

  • maximal extension of the elbow
  • maximal pronation of the wrist
  • maximal palmar flexion of the wrist
