Triceps tendinitis - Clinical Presentation
Is an uncommon lesion. sometimes as an overuse phenomenon in volleyball players and weight lifters;
Occasionally after holding the elbow stretched for longer periods ( cyclists)
Full range of passive movement, sometimes with pain at the end of the passive extension (impingement of the tendon between humerus and acromion).
The resisted extension of the elbow is painful.
Three localisations can be differentiated by palpation:.
