"The Shoulder" Demo

Range of Movement ( Amplitude -ROM)

  • Due to important individual differences, the range of movement should always be compared to the unaffected side .
  •

  • The amplitude ( point at which the movement comes to a stop) is not determined by the pain but by the resistance of the tissues that are brought under tension. One should therefore try to continue the passive movement until the very end of the possible movement - this means until the endfeel is reached.
