5* Resisted Flexion

Execution

  1. The examiner stands in front of the patient.
  2. The patient holds his forearm in 90° of flexion and in supination.
  3. The examiner puts the contralateral hand on top of the patient's shoulder.
  4. The other hand is placed on the distal forearm with the examiner's forearm held vertically.
  5. Ask and resist a felxion of the elbow.

Remarks

make sure the fixation is maximal in order not to allow any movement.
Therefore, use your body weight.
