10* Resisted Flexion of the Wrist

Execution

  1. The examiner stands next to the patient.
  2. The patients arm is elevated and the elbow is held fully
    extended. The arm is held palm downwards (pronation).
  3. The examiner passes his contralateral arm under the
    patient's arm and grasp the forearm just proximally to the
    wrist in order to fix the upper limb.
  4. He brings the hand of the other arm in the palm of the
    patient's hand to resist the patient's attempt to flex the wrist
