Supinator

Infiltration

One or two infiltrations with one week interval.

Material:
A thin needle, 5 cm long is fitted to a 10 ml syringe filled with 0.5% procaine hydrochloride

Technique:

The patient sits, the elbow is flexed to 90° and held halfway between pronation and supination.

The tender spot is localised, usually between radius and ulna, sometimes on the radius.

The needle is introduced at the required depth; Infiltration is performed.
