Equipment:
- thin needle, three to four cm long
- A 2 ml syringe, filled with 20 mg of triamcinolone
Technique:
- The patient lies prone , with a small pillow under the supinated elbow.
- Palpation of the corner between the lateral condyle of the humerus, the head of the radius and the olecranon.
- The needle is inserted just lateral of the olecranon border and aimed slightly oblique under the olecranon.
- Two cc is injected without tissue resistance.
