The Elbow

Infiltrations

Definition

Local administration of a product into a tissue structure (ligament, muscle, tendon or bursa).
By displacing the point of the needle several times while injecting, all the different areas within the lesion receive some of the products.
An infiltration is therefore a series of small injections given at slightly different places within the lesion.

In the elbow, the three following products are used.
