Contra-Indications

Infiltrations with procaine are contra-indicated in:

individuals with a low concentration of pseudocholine-esterase
patients under acetylcholine-esterase
Local infections (skin or bone)
generalised muscular weakness
uncontrolled clotting disorders
known allergy for procaine
