Clinical Examination
The pattern of limitation is strikingly noncapsular:
The patient is unable to move the arm: extreme limitation of active and passive elevation.
The other passive movements are slightly or not limited.
"Empty Endfeel" . The end of passive elevation is not reached because the movement is stopped by the patient, begging the examiner not to go any further.
Marked tenderness.
