Acute Haemorrhagic Bursitis

Elderly patients

After a local trauma / or may accompany a tendinous rupture

The clinical pattern is the same as in an acute bursitis.

Treatment: Evacuation of the blood.

The technique of punction is the same as for an acute bursitis.
Infiltrations are not required.

The aspirations are continued at weekly intervals until the evacuated fluid is clear.
